Simplifying the Service and Process

Overview:

No Charge Estimates policy, at Easytrim Reveal's inc, provides free estimates on different projects to our clients. Due to this, our Estimation team was always overworking on the projects. To achieve a better ROI on the plans, I worked with the management of my company to improve the estimation process.

Challenge:

How might we help the sales team about reducing the projects in the queue to get a fast turnaround from the estimation team?

I designed 3 Types of Estimation tickets. Depending upon the scope of each project we get on our two product lines. It is a digital PDF that each Area Sales Representative has to fill out. Then the tickets were evaluated by their Regional Sales Manager, based on the score of the project between 0-100. If the score is greater then 70, only the project must be estimated by the Estimation Team.

Result

After following the ticket evaluation process, the number of projects in the queue for Estimation team reduced from 100 to 20 projects. This process helped the Estimation team to invest time in the projects which have a greater ROI.
